Open positions: Sales Associate (two roles)


Our company is looking for Sales Associates to be responsible for greeting customers at vending events, improving engagement with merchandise, responding to questions,and providing outstanding customer service. In order to be successful in this role, you will need to have a deep understanding of the sales process and dynamics, and superb interpersonal skills. Previous experience in a sales role is an advantage. 


What does a Sales Associate do?

As the public face of the company, the Sales Associate is responsible for greeting customers, improving engagement with merchandise, responding to questions, and providing outstanding customer service. A Sales Associate is expected to be continuously updating their knowledge of the company products, services, and policies. 


  • Greet customers, responding to questions, improving engagement with merchandise and providing outstanding customer service.

  • Operate point of sale system, managing financial transactions, and balancing drawer.

  • Achieve established goals.

  • Direct customers to merchandise within The Store.

  • Present, promote and sell products/services using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers.

  • Increase in-store sales.

  • Superior product knowledge.

  • Maintain the presentation of the tables, racks, products, signage, and displays.

  • Introduce promotions and opportunities to customers.

  • Cross-sell products to increase purchase amounts.

  • “Go the extra mile” to drive sales.

  • Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships

  • Reach out to customer leads through email.

  • Coordinate sales effort with team members.

  • Coordinate sales efforts with marketing programs.

  • Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.

  • Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction.

  • Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends

  • Continuously improve through feedback 

  • Understand and promote company programs.

  • Set-up and break-down The Store at vending events.



  • An Associate’s degree; some college; BA/BS degree in Business, Economics, Marketing or related field would be a plus

  • A friendly and energetic personality with customer service focus

  • Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales

  • Retail sales experience.

  • Excellent selling, communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills

  • A professional appearance.

  • Maintain a positive attitude and focus on customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.

  • The ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.

  • Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills.

  • Relationship management skills and openness to feedback.

  • Availability to work flexible shifts and weekends.



Ideal candidate

  • Some college with major in business, marketing, economics or related field.

  • Experience in sales.

  • Understanding of the sales process and dynamics.

  • A commitment to excellent customer service.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Superb interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with customers.

  • Able to work comfortably in a fast paced environment.
